Gang Member Gets Street Justice In Odd Twist Of Fate [VIDEO]

Juston Ladonte Donson, 22-year old, was apparently killed by a gunshot wound to the head early on Monday morning, according to Escambia County Sheriff David Morgan. Donson was reportedly one of the suspects who shot into a residence earlier that day and was killed in what the sheriff called “friendly fire.”

Four people have been arrested in connection to the death of their alleged associate in what police believe was a retaliatory gang-related shooting gone wrong.

Donson and four others — Trevon Demarcus Lewis, 16; Dywane William Woodrow, 20; Tre’Shaun Rydell Ulmer, 19; Demetric Jamartia Milhouse, 23 — were reportedly in the car that drove to an address in the 6100 block of Rawson Lane and shot into a residence.

County Sheriff Morgan said during a press conference Tuesday that the shooting occurred at about 4:45 a.m., and the victim who was inside the house was too scared to go outside for several hours.

The shooting was called in at 6:16 a.m. the same day, when neighbors found Donson still alive outside the house. Donson was pronounced dead at a local hospital soon after he was brought in.

“Here’s the twist on this particular story: While Mr. Donson was a victim of these individuals, Mr. Donson was also a party to the arrival at that address on Rawson Lane,” Morgan said.

According to Assistant State Attorney John Molchan said each of Donson’s four alleged associates has been charged with principal to murder because the death occurred during the commission of a felony.

A special prosecutor was also assigned to the case.

ECSO investigator Amber Bernard said investigators believe the shooting was retaliatory and drug-related because there had previously been an altercation between one of the suspects and the individual inside the house.
