Former Vice President Joe Biden and Senator Bernie Sanders, are currently the two frontrunners in the crowded field of Democratic presidential candidates.
According to NPR – Biden and Sanders are pulling in together about half of the support of Democratic voters and Democratic-leaning independents, according to the latest NPR/PBS NewsHour/Marist Poll.
Biden leads with 24%, followed closely by Sanders at 22%. Massachusetts Sen. Elizabeth Warren is third with 17%, followed by South Bend, Ind., Mayor Pete Buttigieg at 13%, altogether making up a clear top tier of four candidates.
The Socialist Democrat Presidential frontrunner, Bernie Sanders was recently approached by a Rebel Media reporter who asked about his “honeymoon” in the Soviet Union with his current wife, Jane. Instead of explaining why they chose the Communist country for their honeymoon, an openly agitated Sanders denied it was a honeymoon, “Actually, I didn’t take a honeymoon there,” Bernie told her, clarifying, “You heard wrong,” about him taking his honeymoon in the Soviet Union.
The left-leaning Washington Post also claimed the main purpose of his trip to the U.S.S.R. was to establish Burlington’s “sister city” in the Soviet Union. Why the switcheroo by the Post and by Sanders? What’s the point of lying about something that’s easy to research? Perhaps this is really about the arrogance and contempt left-wingers like Sanders have for others.
During the trip to Communist Russia, Sanders complained about America, criticizing our housing and health care programs. He also slammed the U.S. for how they intervene in other countries. He claimed Americans were “intellectually lazy,” and that is why they didn’t understand Socialism and Communism.
