Man, Biden’s “Build Back Better” plan is certainly crumbling, and it is evident everywhere we look.
Since Joe has been in office, we are witnessing the worst recession in recent history, banks are collapsing, employers are laying off their employees, and the list goes on.
Now, people are facing even more issues as food prices continue to rise and essentials are becoming harder to find.
A prime example of this is the egg crisis.
Over the last several months, eggs have become super high-priced that everyday families cannot afford them. The grocery store prices for eggs are outrageously high and now one store is no longer even carrying them due to the price hikes.
Eggs were recently removed from Dollar Tree stores as prices for the staple grocery remained high.
Dollar Tree, which has approximately 9,000 locations across the United States, said in a statement distributed to multiple news outlets that it will not sell eggs until prices stabilize. Family Dollar, a Dollar Tree subsidiary, will continue to sell eggs.
“Our primary price point at Dollar Tree is $1.25. The cost of eggs is currently very high,” Dollar Tree spokesperson Randy Guiler said, vowing that the discount store will return eggs to shelves when “costs are more in line with historical levels.”
A recent outbreak of avian flu has reduced the size of American poultry flocks, raising chicken and turkey prices while causing a significant increase in egg prices. According to Bureau of Labor Statistics data, a dozen large Grade A eggs sold for a national average of $4.20 in February 2023, a 110% increase from $2.01 in February 2022 and a 163% increase from $1.60 in February 2021.

According to additional Bureau of Labor Statistics data, headline inflation rose 6.0% between February 2022 and February 2023, a slight decrease from the 9.1% year-over-year levels observed in June 2022. Food prices at home increased by 10.2% between February 2022 and February 2023, while food prices away from home increased by 8.4% over the same time period.
In a White House statement in response to the data, President Joe Biden noted that “annual inflation is down by a third from this summer,” but he failed to mention that inflation is more than three times higher than the 1.4% level observed when he took office in January 2021. “We will continue to make progress in our fight to build an economy from the bottom up and middle out, rather than from the top down,” the president said.

People who shop at discount stores tend to be from lower-income families. Inflation has a greater impact on such families because they typically devote a larger portion of their monthly income to basic living expenses than wealthier families.
Dollar Tree announced in November 2021 that it would raise its primary price point from $1.00 to $1.25, the first such move in nearly four decades. However, diluted earnings per share increased by 25% between 2021 and 2022 in the third fiscal quarter.
“Our third quarter sales performance reflects the timely execution of merchandising initiatives to drive our consumables business in this uncertain and inflationary environment,” Dollar Tree CEO Mike Witynski remarked. “Same-store sales for both segments improved from the prior quarter and delivered a sequential monthly improvement throughout the quarter. Shoppers are responding to our new value proposition at Family Dollar and Dollar Tree as we focus on driving both traffic and store productivity.”
During recessions and other periods of economic turmoil, discount stores typically perform well. “Efforts to evolve the assortment to drive consumables performance at Dollar Tree, combined with initiatives to improve the value proposition at Family Dollar, are yielding results,” Witynski added.
“We believe we will continue to be part of the solution to millions of households seeking value at a time when they need us most.”

Literally, everywhere we turn there is more of this woke nonsense floating around.
We see it in every television program, movie, car commercial, and even the products that we buy.
Target is being the trans movement on the kids.
Dr. Bronner is all about the BLM movement, and gun control, and the owner of the company identifies as a cat.
No, I am not making that up.
Seventh Generation believes that men can have periods too and defunding the police, and that is just the tip of the iceberg.
We need to stop funding these woke companies and I have an amazing alternative for you.
The only “catch”?
It’s only by referral.
Good thing you know someone that can refer you and that is me.
So, click this link and I can send you some information on shopping with an American-made, patriot-owned store that also has grass-fed beef.
No antibiotics, steroids, or junk either.
It is time that we start supporting American companies and stop feeding the globalist woke agenda >>>https://tinyurl.com/23ctzwky
