Monday started out as a fun family outing day for a New Hampshire man and his family. It ended in tragedy. The Andersons, Colorado natives, were visiting relatives in Bridgewater, New Hampshire. The family set out Monday to Newfound Lake for a fun day of boating.
Zoe Anderon’s father was at the wheel. Zoe was on the boat with her mother and her two-year-old sister. Zoe’s dad was hoping to teach his daughter to water ski. When she was trailing behind the boat on the line, the unimaginable happened.
Zoe fell and lost the line. Meanwhile, her father lost his hat to the wind and was distracted for a moment while en route back to get her. According to police, the boat wasn’t going fast. However, she was hit by the propeller and went under. As soon as her father realized something was wrong, he shifted into neutral.
