Will Kid Rock really stop drinking Bud Light?
The conservative musician has been very explicit about his opinions regarding the company on social media, but a story that was released on Wednesday seems to call that into question.
Rock displayed himself igniting Bud Light boxes with a fully automatic MP5 submachine gun in a video that was released in May.

The video came in response to Bud Light’s marketing deal with transgender influencer Dylan Mulvaney.
“F*** Bud Light, and f*** Anheuser-Busch!” Rock said in what amounted to a declaration of economic war.

Rock did not say in the video whether he would ban Bud Light from his establishment.
As a result of a widespread boycott, Bud Light has lost its position as the most popular beer in America. Competitors have seized market share, and conservative consumers are refusing to support the marketing of Mulvaney.
The beverage has drawn criticism from Kid Rock’s concertgoers, who said they would rather drink any beer other than Bud Light.
According to Newsweek, despite Kid Rock’s act of disobedience against the beer, he continues to sell it at his restaurant in Nashville, Tennessee.
The restaurant’s menu still offers Bud Light as a domestic beer choice.

One client told Newsweek that a server informed him that the light beer boycott was simply a temporary measure.
“I mentioned it to the waitress. She said they actually stopped selling it for a week right after [Kid Rock’s video], then started selling it again,” the customer said, according to the publication.
The Western Journal has reached out to Kid Rock’s Big Ass Honky Tonk Rock ‘N’ Roll Steakhouse for comment.
