No one needed a magic 8 ball to predict that CNN+ is going up in flames.
Seriously, no one is watching the free channel so why in the world did anyone think they would pay money to watch it on a streaming service?
Did anyone do a little investigative work before launching this dumpster fire?
Apparently, not.
Such as Chris Wallace, a veteran investigative journalist who left his job at Fox News to go to this streaming service.
I guess he didn’t really do the legwork since if he did, he would have known this was going to be a disaster.
These are the “elites.” The so-called “smartest men in the room,” and the truth is, they don’t have a bloody clue about what’s going on.
Now, the word on the street is that Wallace is throwing a temper tantrum and is threatening to leave CNN+.
Boohoo.
Where will he go now?
Hop on over to HGTV and flip houses?
Or maybe he can get a show on Food Network and show off his culinary masterpieces.
On second thought, that might actually be good. Heck, I would love to see this guy knocked down a peg or two having to actually sing for his supper.
In the meantime, the new Discovery owners have come up with a plan to deal with the massive FLOP over at CNN+ according to a new report from Mediaite reporter Jon Nicosia.
Here’s what he said: “SOURCE @ Discovery: “@CNNplusnis an overly ambitious ego project that doesn’t connect with the current reality at @CNN and has no chance of reaching Zucker’s vision. It will be scaled back significantly to align with the new mission for the news channel”

I heard that Discovery bosses had expected this flop to happen.
Early on, they pegged the CNN+ venture to be an “ego trip” for former CNN President Jeff Zucker and they knew it was doomed to fail.
Apparently, the only people who didn’t realize this were Chris Wallace and Brian Stelter.
CNN has a terribly tarnished reputation.
And they have a VERY long road ahead of them with a lot of work to do before they can ever ask the American people to PAY hard-earned money for their content.
