California About To Ban The Sale Of Furnaces And Water Heaters….

The California Air Resources Board voted to end the sale of natural gas heaters by 2030.

After announcing a ban on the sale of gas-powered cars by 2035, the Golden State continues pushing ahead with the climate scam agenda.

They want you freezing to death inside your home.

That’s how you save the Earth from ‘climate change.’

California wants to replace all gas-powered furnaces and water heaters with electric appliances.

The state already has to contend with rolling blackouts on the electric grid.

What could go wrong with the latest move?

“We need to take every action we can to deliver on our commitments to protect public health from the adverse impacts of air pollution, and this strategy identifies how we can do just that,” CARB Chair Liane Randolph said in a statement.

“While this strategy will clean the air for all Californians, it will also reduce emissions in the many low-income and disadvantaged communities that experience greater levels of persistent air pollution. But to truly meet the ozone standard, California needs more federal action to clean up harmful diesel pollution from primarily federally controlled sources, from locomotives and ocean-going vessels to aircraft, which are all concentrated in communities that continue to bear the brunt of poor air quality. We simply cannot provide clean air to Californians without the federal government doing its part.”

Fox 5 San Diego reported:

The California Air Resources Board voted to end the sale of gas furnaces and gas water heaters by the year 2030.

“Together furnaces and water heaters typically that run on gas account for 90% of gas use in the average California household. So just eliminating these two sources of pollution is going to be a big win for our air quality and our health as well as for addressing climate change,” said Leah Louis Prescott, an environmental advocate.

“I do think a lot more states are going to be following in California’s foots steps and lookin at this as an opportunity to reduce the pollution in our homes and businesses,” Prescott said.

If people do have gas-powered furnaces, there is no need to panic, but in eight years, if your gas furnace or gas water heater breaks, you would have to replace it with an electric appliance.

California can’t even keep the lights on during heat waves.

How will the state manage millions of electric vehicles and appliances in the next decade?
