I understand that the economy is struggling right now due to government intervention over the coronavirus. But I thought the 2 trillion we just spent was to fix that?
Even if interest rates are zero, 2 trillion dollars is half of the money we bring in every year in taxes. We just spent the other half on this pandemic. Money doesn’t grow on trees.
