Bill Barr: Trump Has Never Asked Me to do Anything in a Criminal Case, But He Should Stop Tweeting About DOJ (VIDEO)

(Gateway Pundit) – US Attorney General Bill Barr said in an interview with ABC’s Pierre Thomas that President Trump has never asked him to do anything in a criminal case.

Barr also said Trump should stop tweeting about the DOJ because it makes his job “impossible” given the noise and controversy it stirs up in the media.

“The president has never asked me to do anything in a criminal case”—but should stop tweeting about the DOJ because his tweets “make it impossible for me to do my job,” Barr said.

Bill Barr is referring to President Trump’s tweetstorm slamming the excessive sentencing in Roger Stone’s case.

President Trump also went after Judge Amy Berman Jackson and unleashed on the four prosecutors who abused Roger Stone.

“I won’t be bullied by anybody…whether it’s Congress, newspapers, editorial boards or the president,” he said. I’m going to do what I think is right.”

Bill Barr said this exact thing during his confirmation hearing, but the media is blowing up his statements as an attack on President Trump.
