President Joe Biden revealed a strange note posted on his bathroom mirror by first lady Jill Biden last year, and people online agreed it was strange.
“Jill puts messages on my mirror where I’m shaving so I make sure to see them. And the one that was put there about a year ago was ‘Stop trying to make me love you,’” Biden said at a Wednesday White House event celebrating Women’s History Month.
Biden raised his hands in the air and made a face as if to say he has no idea what that means.
The mostly female audience in attendance laughed.
“What the hell,” Biden said. “I’m still trying like hell.”

At least two interpretations are possible for the note. “Stop trying to make me love you,” because you already have.
Like the “you had me at hello” scene in the 1996 film “Jerry Maguire.”
Perhaps Jill Biden meant, “Stop trying because you’re failing,” or “You’re trying too hard.”
Given that they’ve been married since 1977, it’s safe to assume the first option.
The Republican National Committee tweeted the video with a thinking emoji, indicating that they, too, had no idea what the note meant.

One Twitter user replied, “Sounds like Jill is just as bad as he is.”

Another awkward moment for Biden occurred on Tuesday when he attempted to read a poem from a teleprompter and failed miserably.
The embarrassing moment came when Biden said he was starting over and then misquoted the text he was reading. “When he says ‘Let me start over,’ the entire room goes ‘Oh please, no,” one Twitter user put it.
