Apparently, the former mayor of Sebastopol, California has now been arrested for felony charges regarding sexual crimes against children. This man was not only a politician, but he was also a staunch “Defund the Police” advocate. However, he has now traded in his suit for a prison jumpsuit instead.

There are numerous charges against Robert Emmanuel Jacob, who is not only the former of Sebastopol, California but also an openly gay and married man. The charges include transportation of a child for lewd and lascivious acts, arranging a meeting for sexual purposes, and sodomy of a child under 16 years old. Apparently, Mayor Jacob wants to “Defund the Police” because he likes them young.

According to the Sebastopol law enforcement, the sexual abuse that Mayor Jacob is accused may have begun in December 2019, and it continued through March of this year. That is why Sebastopol’s Finest booked the former mayor on 11 felony counts for sexual assault crimes against a minor aged between 14 and 15 years old.

It is important to note that the former mayor is not only being accused of sex crimes, but he also has made numerous social media posts in support of violence against the police. It was June 2020 when he made a post where he gleefully thanked the Black Lives Matter rioters, calling those who had been arrested “warriors” and calling them part of the “infantry” on the front lines. Indeed, this guy is such a piece of work that it makes you wonder how he was elected in the first place.

On June 5th, 2020, Jacob posted his thoughts on Facebook regarding his activism: “Progress Again!!! Finally, we are seeing some response to Trump’s fake news posts on Facebook. CEO Zuckerberg has moved from protecting the ‘Freedom of Speech’ of Trump and went to ‘We’re going to look over some of the policies regarding the discussion of threats…and we are going to look at the use of force we should adopt. Again, I would like to thank BLM, the protesters, and the rioters. These direct actions are creating change,” Jacob posted.

Just two days later, Jacob was up to his old tricks again. This time, he posted the following: “Defund The Police” doesn’t mean we want anarchy and no law. It doesn’t mean we don’t need police officers. Those are talking points of the right. Dirty cops need to be fired. Departments de-militarized. Violent units disbanded. Defunding is about re-funding, as my friend Mary Coffey puts it. Defund the police to re-fund the resources we’ve been slashing for generations. For example NYC police budget is $6 bil, public health is $1.6 bil. Let’s fix that math.”

The Sebastopol police department released a statement regarding the former mayor’s arrest:

“On March 30, 2021, Sebastopol police officers received some information regarding possible sexual assaults that had occurred in the City of Sebastopol between December of 2019 and March 2021. Upon further investigation, we discover that the suspect was identified as Robert Jacob. On April 10, 2021 at 7:00 a.m. Sebastopol law enforcement contacted Robert Jacob in the 7400 block of Woodland Avenue and took them into custody for the arrest warrant that is based on five felony and one misdemeanor sexual assault crimes against a minor. Mr. Jacob is being held without bail.”
