A dozen inmates escaped from an Alabama prison after using just peanut butter to cover up a door number and trick a guard into thinking a door leading outside was a cell door. When he hit the button to open what he thought was a cell door, he actually allowed a dozen inmates to break free. The guard watches 150 inmates and operates from a room by remote and opens doors by remote also, so he could not see what the actual situation was clearly.
