A Beloved Reality Star Has DIED During Filming Of Series….

Cars can be thrilling, but also dangerous.

If you’re a fan of Street Outlaws, then you likely know who Ryan Fellows is. Ryan has long been one of the show’s stars, but recently tragic news broke that Ryan has died.

41-year-old Fellows was competing in an event outside of Las Vegas when he lost control of his turbocharged V-8-powered 240 and crashed. Fellows was participating in the eighth of nine planned races that evening. His car rolled and caught fire, with onlookers unable to get him out of the wreckage, TMZ reports.

“The Street Outlaws family is heartbroken by the accident that led to the tragic death of Ryan Fellows,” Discovery said in a statement on Twitter. “We extend our deepest sympathy to Ryan’s loved ones as they process this sudden and devastating loss.”

“Fastest in America” is one of four Discovery Channel shows in the “Street Outlaws” franchise, along with the original show, “Memphis” and “No Prep Kings.” The franchise, which premiered in 2013, provides an inside look into the world of street racing.

Currently in its third season, “Fastest in America” is a competition show that focuses on eight teams of racers competing against one another for $100,000. Fellows competed in the show’s third season, and also appeared as a guest racer in a Season 5 episode of “Memphis.”

Fellows leaves behind a wife, Liz, and his two children, Josiah and Olivia. A GoFundMe page has been created to help them with “the next steps of grief and living life after losing the heart and soul of their beautiful family.”

The GoFundMe explains:

“Ryan was an avid car enthusiast and was a road ‘warrior’ in many ways that extended to loves of basketball, cars, and business in sales/advertising. He was admired for his tenacity and relentless drive to overcome the challenges before him. The only thing he loved more than these efforts and achievements was his family-his wife. The family will need help with the next steps of grief and living life after losing heart and soul of their beautiful family.”

And shortly before Fellows died on the streets of Las Vegas following his vehicle’s crash, he had turned to Instagram to post content about his Las Vegas race.

“Then we are headed to Vegas for @stoutlaws, and we will be running in the 28s all steel, all glass, full interior street class. We have made a bunch of changes and upgrades to the car, including a new FTI 5.5 level trans rebuilt Hughes converter. After several weeks off, it’s gonna be nice to get back out there racing again, especially on the street, which I enjoy the most.”

Many fans were devastated upon hearing the news, “Race In Paradise,” One person wrote. “Badass racer gone to soon save me a lane Up there big dog rip Ryan prayers for his family this is a tuff one,” another wrote.
