President Donald Trump undoubtedly triggered untold numbers of liberals during Thursday night’s debate with former Vice President Joe Biden, but one high-profile progressive mouthpiece threw a Twitter temper-tantrum after the president addressed her during the debate by a “sexist” title.
Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez — referred to by pretty much everyone as AOC, was completely shattered that the president chose to use her commonly referred to initials at the debate. Taking to her Twitter account, AOC expressed her frustration, according to The Daily Wire.
“I wonder if Republicans understand how much they advertise their disrespect of women in debates when they consistently call women members of Congress by nicknames or first names while using titles & last names when referring to men of = stature,” AOC tweeted.
AOC went on to inform her millions of followers that it’s totally cool that they call her AOC, but definitely not Trump or any of his Republican friends.
