‘Jeopardy!’ Winner Ken Jennings Mocks Barron Trump Over Beheading, Not Laughing Now
One “Jeopardy!” champion and best-selling children’s book author is faced intense backlash after he criticized President Donald Trump’s 11-year-old son, Barron, over the controversial photo of Kathy Griffin holding a blooded mask of the 70-year-old.
Jennings took to Twitter after the Griffin photo went viral, appearing to mock Barron for his reaction to the photo.
After TMZ reported Barron Trump screamed thinking Kathy Griffin’s photoshoot with a bloody replica of President Trump’s head was real, Jennings tweeted, “Barron Trump saw a very long necktie on a heap of expired deli meat in a dumpster. He thought it was his dad & his little heart is breaking.”

Barron’s older half-brother, Donald Trump Jr., spotted the tweet and immediately retaliated:
It takes a real man to pick on an 11 year old. Yet another low from the left, but they will rationalize this away with their usual excuses. https://t.co/JDF3VsVEJ1

Jennings quickly responded:
I will kill as many white rhinos as it takes to prove my masculinity to Donald Trump Jr. https://t.co/mm8YzH2NPB

Trump Jr. then called out book publisher Simon & Schuster over the shocking comments:
Good point, you would think that in this day & age @simonandschuster would have an issue with one of their children’s authors bullying a kid https://t.co/S4Bxs7AnSs

Griffin’s photo shoot with photographer Tyler Shields immediately sparked outrage, resulting in CNN dropping the 56-old-comedienne from hosting their annual New Year’s Eve show.
Squatty Potty also eliminated their contract with the spokeswoman and the USO announced they were no longer involved with Griffin.
One user wrote on Mad World News’ Facebook page about the issue:
“Just called Simon & Schuster and told them how disgusted I was that their author Ken Jennings after writing children’s books, made such a disgusting statement about Barron Trump, that they need to do something about him. Told him I buy a lot of books, not only for myself but for my kids and grandkids and it may be a good time to stop buying from them. Nice young fellow answering the call said he would make sure that the call was sent to corporate! Told him it was not personal to him, but was just plain disgusted with this Ken Jennings!”
“Apparently this jerk isn’t as smart as he was on Jeopardy — and I guess he doesn’t have children who love him and would freak out if something happened to him or he has no feelings for anyone except himself — he is a heartless s.o.b.,” another wrote.
“Lowest of the low. Hope he doesn’t sell another book and that Simon and Schuster drop him as an author. He and kathy griffin would make a perfect couple. Neither has any [decency],” another Daily Mail reader added.
Simon & Schuster did not immediately respond to the controversy or the calls to drop Jennings as a client.
