Elizabeth Warren is a class ic case of someone that comes up with a solution for a problem that doesn’t even exist and then tries to shoehorn it into a completely different set of circumstances.
From all reports, she claims that she has about seven thousand people in the area that she represents that are affected by the government shutdown.
So, what does Lizzie do?
Does she try to get together with people on the other side of the aisle to see if there is some kind of agreement that can be made?
Does she try to organize some kind of funds that she can help raise personally to offset some of the hardship that the workers that are not getting paid during the shutdown. Nope, she gives money to people that don’t deserve it.
So, what’s Elizabeth Warren doing? Looking at some sort of compromise that could end the shutdown and get them back to work?
“Over 7,000 people in Massachusetts have been sent home or are working without pay during the #TrumpShutdown,” she wrote in a tweet Wednesday.
“Until @realDonaldTrump re-opens the government, I’m donating my salary to @HIASrefugees, a nonprofit that helps refugees and makes our country stronger in the process.”
Wait, so the people of her state don’t have money to pay their bills? If only there’s something she could do in order to help them out. Oh well, here’s a tweet about the salary she’s going to be donating to a refugee cause.
